A whole life, dedicated to hospitality...
Our History
Astacos Family Restaurant and Studios was established in 1963 (more or less), and we were the leaders in top quality food and accommodation eversince! Now, as years have gone by and the team is not with us anymore, we have kept the studios and rented the restaurant to some friends that indeed they make amazing food there! They make the best quality pizza and pasta!
As for our accommodation and the studios, we are still doing what we know best for the last 40+ years.
A "Family-driven" business
As long as I remember in the team there was my grandmother “Paradiso” which was the most smilley person on earth, my mother Eleni, father Manolis, uncle Gregory “the cook”, Leon and all-time classic waiter, me and my Sister.
Unforgettable Experiences
Dear Guests and friends. I am Alexandros Ziniatis, the son of Manolis and Eleni. I was born in Corfu, have stayed in Paleokastritsa for all my life, and I plan to close my eyes here!
I did leave the island for few years to do my studies, but I could not find the energy and the reason to move out from here.
I have seen half of my life gone, but I never stopped offerring my best for my guests.
Look at the photo gallery. The old friends will for sure remember us when we were so active at the Restaurant with the "Tzatziki" and "Taramosalata". Who can forget the Chicken with the true Garlic sauce? Who could forget our devine Mousakas???
A huge thanks to all our guests that have been supporting our efforts since 1965!
